The Dredging Contractors of America yesterday released the following statement endorsing the Sandy Supplemental and urged the Senate to approve the legislation.
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Sandy Supplemental bill last week.
“ The Hurricane Sandy Supplemental legislation provides much-needed assistance for North Atlantic communities devastated by the storm. We urge the U.S. Senate to act quickly to pass the Sandy Supplemental so that the communities that were devastated by this storm can be made whole again.
“The U.S. dredging industry stands ready, willing and able to respond to the restoration of navigation and recovery of storm-damaged communities, just as we did during the BP spill and other past crises.”
