The scientific congress GESeD will be held in Caen on 10th, 11th and 12th April 2013.
The main theme of the event is the Environmental Management of Dredged Sediments. This international scientific meeting is organized by the ERPBC UCBN (Equipe de recherche en Physico Chimie et Biotechnologie de l’Université de Caen Basse Normandie) and ESITC Caen (Ecole d’Ingénierie et Travaux de la Construction).
The focus of the congress will be geochemical and geotechnical characterizations of dredged sediments, the developpement of alternative strategies for the reuse of dredged sediments in civil engineering applications (e.G. road construction), as well as their enviromental impact.
