The National Safety Week is being observed at the Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI).
On this occasion, Capt. D.K.Mohanty, Chairman and Managing Director of the corporation hosted the safety flag and administered the pledge to all the employees at the corporate office.
In his inaugural address,CMD stressed upon the importance of safety in workplace and adherence to safety protection measures. He stated that DCI should ensure Zero accident.
Further, he stated that while it is the responsibility of the individuals to ensure Safety not only in the work place but in day- to- day activities seniors & supervisors should be more vigilant to ensure that all safety precautions are implemented. Sri P.V.Ramana Murthy, Director ( Finance), Cmde P.Jayapal, Director (Operations and Technical) and all the employees of the corporation participated in the programme.
Dr.P.K.Sethi, Deputy General Manager (HSE) of the company, proposed Vote of thanks and informed all the gatherings that various programmes like elocution, posters, and slogan and quiz competitions will be conducted among the school children and employees.
