IMS Divison of LWT, LLC reports strong global expansion in Asia, Africa, and Latin America for 2012 going into 2013.

“Our reputation is growing fast globally and our clientele is confident in our documented successes with governments and private contractors ,” says Ryan Horton, IMS Global Sales Director .

AFRICA

In December 2012, a Nigerian company purchased six (6) IMS Model 7012 HP Versi-Dredges from stock that shipped the same month. The units will assist with flood clean-up efforts and future flood mitigation projects. IMS is supplying onsite training by factory service technicians.

ASIA

IMS continues to thrive in Asian markets across the board with a multitude of orders from various government and private sector buyers in SE Asia. IMS is also expanding its service capabilities in Asia with local partners to help service clients more rapidly.

LATIN AMERICA & THE CARIBBEAN

IMS has announced that it has sold two (2) IMS Model 5012 LP Versi-Dredges to a contractor in Colombia. The client visited an IMS Model 5012 LP Versi-Dredge at a canal maintenance project in Panama prior to finalizing their purchase with IMS. The two dredges will be used for a major government funded project for performing maintenance dredging on the Bogota River.

“ Our hands on approach to solving our clientele’s complex problems and providing them with top notch after sales support coupled with our strong regional managers are allowing us to achieve rapid growth in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are a boots on the ground organization from the sales and service level all the way to our top executives, ” says Horton.

In the Caribbean, IMS sold multiple dredge systems to Trinidad for flood prevention projects and a sand mining dredge in Barbados.

Other noteworthy dredge sales in the region include: Panama, Ecuador, and Mexico.

NORTH AMERICA

Aside from IMS’s global expansion it is also focused on servicing its loyal US clientele like Merrell Bros. who just purchased their fourth IMS Model 5012 LP Versi-Dredge. IMS also delivered a Model 5012 HP Versi-Dredge for cleaning the lakes and canals in Brownsville, TX.
