This project provides for supplemental funding for the long-term federal beach restoration and maintenance project at Sandbridge Beach.
The local share of funding for this project is provided by the Sandbridge Special Service District and Tax Increment Financing District funds.
Replenishment of the beach is to be performed on a cyclical basis every two to three years, but annual appropriations will be made to ensure adequate funds are available when the work begins.
