Yesterday, Dagestan Prime Minister Mukhtar Medjidov conducted a working meeting on the state of land reclamation systems and fish bypass channels in Tarumovsky and Kizliar regions.
Opening the meeting, Mukhtar Medjidov noted that this event was held based on the results of the working visit to Kizliar and Tarumovsky regions where the government delegation visited a number of major investment projects of agriculture, and saw the conditions of the irrigation system of northern Dagestan.
Dagestan is one of the Russian subjects which has a risky farming due to the climatic conditions and relatively low levels of average annual precipitation.
