BAE Systems has offered an insight into the latest shipbuilding activities which includes major shipping companies that supply the offshore energy industry, dredging operations and cargo transportation.

The Jacksonville, Florida shipyard is on track to build a total of four platform supply vessels (PSVs) that will support offshore oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
“We’re also building PSVs at the Mobile, Alabama shipyard, along with a large dredge and a couple of dump scows, which are barges that carry dredging material, ” the Company said.
