Grand Port Maritime de Bordeaux has invited contractors to submit their offers for the dredging work at the new inlet on the Gironde Coast, west of GPMB.
The project includes dredging of approximately 6.6 million m3 of sand from the Matelier South Beach.
The details of the project are: dredging that goes from September 2013 to May 2014, dumping of materials at sea in an area reserved for this purpose and discharging of approx. 600,000m³ sand from a trench at about -9m CM to land on the site of Verdon-sur-Mer.
The project period is 21 months from the date of contract award, and the deadline for this tender is April 26, 2013.
