This video shows the dredging project at the rebuilt Hilly Orchard Bridge (Stroudwater Canal) between Dudbridge lock and Ebley Mill in 2012, followed by the removal of the earth and clay bund at the newly constructed spillway where the River Frome runs adjacent to the canal.
Within days, visiting trailboats are able to attend the National Trailboat Rally on the same site, and to moor near Dudbridge wharf with its superb crane. The newly created towpath is enjoyed by local residents and walkers alike.
