Trondheim Kommune has announced a tender for a dredging project in the Trondheim Port area.
The contract includes the design of the cleanup measures for the Trondheim Port cleaner seabed, preparation of a licence application from KLIF and technical and environmental monitoring of the licence as an aid to the construction manager.
This plan includes both dredging and capping.
The deadline for this tender is May 21, 2013.
Background
Cleaner Port is a joint project between Trondheim, Trondheim Port Authority and the Climate and Pollution Agency (KLIF). On the basis of agreed targets for the basin, the project has drawn up this action plan for a comprehensive cleanup of contaminated sediments in the Trondheim basin.
