Naval Facilities Engineering Command has announced a plan for the Yorktown dredging program.
The work includes bucket dredging of mud and silt material along Pier R-3 at the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, VA.
The material will be deposited by scow transport at the Norfolk Ocean Disposal site located off the coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The approximate solicitation release date will be 2 May 2013, and the estimated cost range is from $1 mln to $5 mln.
