Nakhle Khoda port is a development project under construction by the Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
This project is located in Hormozgan province in the south of the country bordering Persian Gulf.
The main reason for the construction of this port is shortening distance between Bandar Abbas port and Hormoz Island.
A port official of Banadar Abbas said that some $180 m has been allocated for this project. “ The port has had a 75% progress ”, he added.
This project will bring about facilitation of traffic to Hormoz Island with cutting distance from 19 to 13 km and also reduce traffic to Haghani port.
