Åhus Hamn & Stuveri AB has awarded the Åhus Port dredging contract to Skanska Sverige AB last month.
Åhus currently has a total of approx. 1,600m of quay. The port now intends to repair a quay section and also plans to dredge parts of the basin and shipping channel.
The theoretical total volume of about 133,000m³ is estimated to be dredged with outsourcing of erosion included.
The total cost of this development project is 65,200,000 SEK (around USD 10 mln).
