USA: Army Corps Seeks Contractors for New York Harbor Dredging

The US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the dredging program of the New York and New Jersey Harbors and adjacent channels. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the dredging program of the New York and New Jersey Harbors and adjacent channels.

The project area is located in Port Jersey Channel, Bayonne, New Jersey.

This Contract consists of deepening the Federal Navigation Channel System to a depth of 52 feet (plus 1.0) (MLW). The project SSR1 includes dredging and placement of non-rock materials.

This development program is estimated to cost between $10 mln and $15 mln.
