The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the placement of 3.3 mln cubic yards of sand to restore the Long Branch reach of the Sea Bright to Manasquan project to its initial fill profile.
Sand for this replenishment program will be dredged from the Sea Bright Borrow Area located 3-5 miles east of Sea Bright, NJ.
The approximate cost range for this project is between $25 mln and $100 mln, and the estimated project duration is 210 days.
Bid Opening date is on or about 3 July 2013 at 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time).
Bids will be submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Room 1843, 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY 10278.
