The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, introduced the details about the Kings Bay dredging plan.
This development project consists of maintenance dredging of beach compatible shoal material from the Kings Bay Entrance Channel. The dredged material will be placed in the North Beach Disposal Area.
The value of this dredging contract is between $5 mln and $10 mln.
The solicitation for the Kings Bay dredging project will be issued on or about 13 June 2013 with bids due on or about 16 July 2013.
