CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for Phase 1 of the deepwater channel of the Sanduao Port Zone in Ningde, with a contract value of 250 million yuan and a construction period of 12 months.
Located in the middle of the mainland gold coastline, the Sanduao Port Zone is the “portal” of the east costal of Fujian Province. Phase 1 of the deepwater channel undertaken by the company involves the dredging of the Zhanwan channel and the Baima channel, with total quantities of some 13.9 million cubic meters.
The project will boost the navigation capacity of the Sanduao port zone and be of positive significance to giving full play to the zone’s advantage in deepwater bay resources, building a great oceangoing channel serving inland provinces and developing cooperation with Taiwan on the west coast of the Taiwan Straits.
