Port of Melbourne Extends Yarraville Berth Construction Works (Australia)

Construction works, including the construction of a rock revetment and retaining wall, at 5 Yarraville berth have been extended and are now scheduled for completion on or around 31 August 2013. Construction works, including the construction of a rock revetment and retaining wall, at 5 Yarraville berth have been extended and are now scheduled for completion on or around 31 August 2013.

Barge 74 (24 m x 9 m) will be positioned onsite for the duration of the works and be marked by flashing lights at night. Additional plant will include a 5 m punt and 34 T Excavator.

All operations will be conducted during day time hours.

All related -works will remain outside the toe line of Maribyrnong River.

All plant will be temporarily relocated during periods of vessel movements to and from No.l Maribyrnong.
