UAE: Ajman Port Reconstruction Project Moves Forward

On June 26, the UAE Company and the client Hutchison Ajman International Terminal (Hutchison Whampoa) jointly held the commencement ceremony and the ground-breaking ceremony for UAE Ajman Terminal Reconstruction Project.

The representatives from Ajman Port Office, Hutchison Whampoa Ajman Terminal Operation Company and the UAE Company and the senior staff of the local government attended the ceremony.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Alan Ho, COO of Hutchison Whampoa Ajman Terminal Operation Company; and the president of Ajman Port Office – Sheikh Mohd. Bin Abdullah Sultan Al Nuaimi, and the General Manager of Hutchison Whampoa Ajman Terminal Operation Company delivered a speech, respectively, pointing out that the Ajman Terminal Reconstruction Project was of great significance and all the parties were willing to sincerely cooperate with each other and jointly improve the operation capability of Ajman Terminal; besides, they wish beforehand that the reconstruction project would be completed smoothly as soon as possible.

Tsoi Andy, the general manager of Hutchison Whampoa Middle East Branch, and chief engineer Yang Mingjiang of the UAE Company participated in the following ground-breaking ceremony and laid a foundation stone for the Ajman Terminal Reconstruction Project.
