Director General of Bushehr Port said that there are a number of projects to be put into operation within next month in the port.
Regarding the Negin Island, Bushehr Director General said that a contract is due to be concluded with the private sector shortly. The private sector is planning to make investment in this island which is adjacent to Bushehr Port.
Negin is a small island which Bushehr Port Authorities want to use it for port and maritime activities.
The private sector also has expressed readiness to build port facilities in this island and turn it into a port. Bushehr Port is in need of a supplementary port due to its restriction in port hinterland.
