A group of Omani investors and traders visited Bandar Abbas Port facilities and infrastructures.
During this visit, the role of Bandar Abbas Port in the country’s trade and its strategic position was elaborated for the delegation.
Also, investment opportunities in various fields were introduced to the delegation and port projects currently underway in Bandar Abbas were explained by the pertaining authorities.
With 36 berths, Bandar Abbas port is the major and most modern container port of Iran. Geographically it is situated in the north-south transport corridor.
Acknowledging the role of Bandar Abbas as one of the important ports of the region, Omani delegation expressed hope that ground would be further prepared for forging greater cooperation between Bandar Abbas and Omani ports.
