The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has received the necessary approvals from Federal and Provincial authorities for Snye dredging.
The operation, which will involve dredging the mouth of the Snye at the Clearwater River, will begin the week of August 26 and last approximately two weeks.
Snye Point and the access road to Snye Point will be closed to all users during this period. Boaters are advised to use the boat launch at the Horse Pasture Park in Waterways.
