Corps Presents Charleston Channel Dredging Plan (USA)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, has announced the details about the Charleston Channel dredging program.

This deepening project includes maintenance dredging of approximately 1,265,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from the Charleston Entrance Channel, which will be deposited in the Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site.

The estimated value of this cleanup project is between $5 mln and $ 10 mln, and the proposals will be due on 25 September 2013.
