Two days ago, a delegation of Belgian businessmen led by Belgian Minister of Foreign Minister Didier Reynders toured the construction site of outer harbor Bronka.
Alexei Shukletsov, COO of Phoenix Ltd, showed the guests the construction of new port quay walls and dredging works, performed by general contractor JSC Baltstroy.
The Bronka project will create an estimated 2,300 marine terminals-related jobs. Upon completion of the outer harbor facilities annual direct tax payments to the budget of St. Petersburg will be at RUB 1.7 billion (plus indirect tax – RUB 5.1 bn), the federal budget will get RUB 2.0 billion a year (RUB 5.9bn).
