The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has introduced a plan for the Port Orford maintenance dredging program.
This deepening project, located in Curry County, Oregon, will include removal of approximately 7,000 cubic yards of material from the mentioned area.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers expects that this very important cleanup program will commence on 2 February 2014, with an anticipated completion date of 1 August 2014.
The solicitation will be announced on or about 12 November 2013, with bids due approximately 30 days after issue.
The Port Orford maintenance dredging will occur in 2-3 episodes, and the total cost is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000.
