Belgium: Authorities Invite Bids for Oostende Beach Replenishment

Agentschap voor Maritieme Dienstverlening en Kust has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Oostende area beach replenishment contract. Under this program, the contractor should carry out maintenance and replenishment work along the Flemish coast beaches and to supply sand to other beaches

Agentschap voor Maritieme Dienstverlening en Kust has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Oostende area beach replenishment contract.

Under this program, the contractor should carry out maintenance and replenishment work along the Flemish coast beaches and to supply sand to other beaches or dunes at the coastal ports.

The completion date for the Oostende replenishment project is one calendar year with the right for the contracting authority to repeat to a period of three years after the original contract.

The total value of the project is EUR 3 mln, and the tender deadline is November 5, 2013.
