U.S. Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX-27) spoke on the House floor in support of H.R. 3080, the “Water Resources Reform and Development Act (WRRDA) of 2013.”
“ WRRDA will better our ports while cutting red tape, growing the economy, and saving taxpayer dollars by eliminating government waste,” he said.
“As Co-Chairs of the Texas Maritime Caucus, Congressman Farenthold and Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30) worked with fellow committee member Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) to ensure this bill met the needs of the nation and of Texas ports and waterway districts. ”
