U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden will travel to Panama in the third week of November to meet with President Ricardo Martinelli and visit the Panama Canal expansion project.
Biden had to postpone a previous scheduled visit in September after a visit to Mexico, due to the crisis in Syria. He will visit the expansion works of the Panama Canal, to highlight the importance of investment in infrastructure.
The White House said it will give more details about the trip in the coming days.
