China: CHEC Signs New Bohe Port BT Contract

On October 17, the signing ceremony of general contract for investment and construction of BT Project of New Bohe Port District Breakwater Project in Maoming Port was held in Maoming, Guangdong. On October 17, the signing ceremony of general contract for investment and construction of BT Project of New Bohe Port District Breakwater Project in Maoming Port was held in Maoming, Guangdong.

President Mo Wenhe of CHEC, on behalf of the Company, and Maoming Coast Development and Construction Co., Ltd. and Maoming New Bohe Port District Construction Headquarters Office signed the general contract for investment and construction of BT project.

Mayor Li Hongjun of Maoming City attended the signing ceremony.

CHEC and Maoming Coast Development and Construction Co., Ltd., jointly participates in the investment and construction of this project this time. Maoming Coast Development and Construction Co., Ltd. is responsible for the project financing while CHEC is responsible for the project construction, namely, the construction general contract of the project master contract.

The signing of this contract marks that the project is to enter the implementation stage and that CHEC makes a new breakthrough in the domestic business development.

The New Bohe Port District Breakwater Project has two sections, eastern part and western part. The eastern part is about 5423m long and the western part is about 3315m long. The breakwater project is invested and built by means of BT mode. The construction and installation cost of the project is about RMB 1.8 billion and the construction period is 2 years for the eastern part and 2 years for the western part.
