The Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority will meet in regular session today at 9 a.m.
The meeting was previously scheduled for Monday, November 18, but Vice President Joe Biden toured the Bayport Container Terminal yesterday as part of a series of trips he is making to select U.S. ports regarding the Panama Canal expansion.
The Port Commission meeting immediately follows the swearing in ceremony of new Port Commissioner Roy D. Mease. The Board of Pilot Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. or immediately following the adjournment of the Port Commission meeting.
The Port Commission Community Relations Committee will convene at 10:30 a.m. or immediately following the Board of Pilots Commissioners meeting.
The meetings will take place in the fourth floor boardroom of the Port Authority Executive Building, 111 East Loop North (Exit 29 off Loop 610) in Houston.
