The Department of Homeland Security has announced a plan for the Eatons Neck dredging program.
This development project will include dredging of approximately 6000 cubic yards of sand from the area adjacent to a groin located at the entrance to the Coast Guard mooring basin at Station Eatons Neck, Northport, NY. The material dredged during this venture will be placed onto the North Creek shoreline.
All dredging and disposal work should be wrapped up no later than March 23, 2014, and the estimated cost range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
