It is necessary to revive the training of dredging specialists in Rostov-on-Don, said Aleksandr Attar, Director of Saint-Petersburg branch of Ekohidrotechnika, at the Forum of Dredging Companies, organized by media-group PortNews.
He noted that the only educational institution to train dredging specials in Russia, Rostov nautical school named after Sedov, ceased enrollment for dredging specialization from 2013.
He said that it is necessary to create an outsourcing system for dredging specialists and a dredging e-library.
