Corps to Invite Bids for Oregon Coast Zone Dredging (USA)

Charleston, Winchester Bay, Port Orford, Yaquina Bay, and Rogue River, located on the Oregon Coast, will be dredged under the South Coast Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2014 plan. Charleston, Winchester Bay, Port Orford, Yaquina Bay, and Rogue River, located on the Oregon Coast, will be dredged under the South Coast Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2014 plan.

This dredging contract, worth between $1 mln and $5 mln, will include removal of approximately 400,000 cubic yards of material from the mentioned areas.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, will announce an Invitation for Bids on or about May 1st, 2014, with a tentative bid opening 30 days after issue.
