The Mayor of Bega Valley Shire Council has welcomed the Deputy Premiers announcement of the NSW Governments $3 million contribution to the Eden Wharf Extension.
This, together with Councils $2 million contribution will ensure that the Federal Governments $10 million election promise will materialise and that the extension will be built.
Cr Taylor in thanking the Deputy Premier noted the contribution of the Eden community, in particular Cruise Eden and the Eden Chamber of Commerce in development of the wharf project.
Council staff and Councillors have been advocating and developing the wharf project for a number of years as part of the Snug Cove Redevelopment Masterplan.
