USA: Quillayute River Dredging Plan Unveiled

According to the USACE Seattle District’s plan, approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sediment will be dredged from the Quillayute River Federal Navigation Channel, from 1 September 2014 and 28 February 2015. According to the USACE Seattle District’s plan, approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sediment will be dredged from the Quillayute River Federal Navigation Channel, from 1 September 2014 and 28 February 2015.

The total value of this dredging project, located in Clallam County, will be between $1 mln and $5 mln.

The dredged material will be placed at three nearby designated disposal sites. This material will be confined in a basin surrounded by a berm constructed by the contractor.
