Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has signed a contract with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) for the construction of Harbour in Meemu atoll Naalaafushi Island.
The ceremony held at the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure was attended by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Minister of State for Housing and Infrastructure Mr. Abdulla Ziyad, Kimbidhoo Parliament Member Mr. Moosa Zameer and Chief Executive Officer of MTCC Mr. Ahmed Shiham Ali.
The project which is funded by the Government of Maldives costs 18.6 million Rufiyaa.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 180 days.
Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu signed the contract on behalf of the Ministry while Chief Executive Officer of MTCC Mr. Ahmed Shiham Ali signed the contract on behalf of MTCC.
