Autorità Portuale di Taranto has issued a tender invitation for the Port of Taranto dredging scheme.
According to the project planning, approximately 2,000,000 m3 of sediment will be dredged from the Port of Taranto’s multi-purpose pier area.
This development work will also involve construction of a first batch of reclaimed land for the Terminal V expansion, an area where the dredged sediment currently flows back into the channel.
The project period is 670 days from the date of contact award and the tender deadline is July 10, 2014.
