Today, Riverkeeper’s Abigail M. Jones, staff attorney for the Hudson River Program, will take part in a panel presentation in Newark called “Restoring Our River” on the plans to clean up and restore the Passaic River.
Jones will speak about the landmark GE Superfund cleanup of PCB contamination in the Hudson River.
Also speaking are Debbie Mans, executive director of NY/NJ Baykeeper, Ray Basso, director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Lower Passaic River Project, and Janine MacGregor of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Passaic Initiative.
