FIND to Hold Open House in Broward County

The Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) will hold an Open House regarding proposed restoration and improvements to MSA-726 – Exchange Club Park in Pompano Beach and the related forthcoming dredging project for the Intracoastal Waterway in Broward County.

The Open House will take place on Thursday, September 25th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, 1801 NE 6th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.

This is an informal meeting in which those interested can drop by anytime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for project information including restoration and design plans, timeframes and other project details. A short overview will be given at 6 p.m. to start the meeting.

FIND staff will be available to answer questions and gather input from the public about the proposed project.

Restoration of the site is expected to begin in 2015 and take approximately 3-4 months during which the park will be closed to the public.
