On completion of Lake extension works for Sir Peter Ellwood, in Northamptonshire, Fen Group’s team have now moved on to dredge and refurbish the historic lakes at Holywell Hall near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
The new owners of the picturesque hall which sits in acres of beautiful parkland, recognized that the two main lakes, which form a certrepeice of the vista enjoyed by the hall, were in urgent need of maintenance to bring them back to their full glory.
Fen Group have been contracted to de-silt the lakes and restore water control stuctures to aid future maintenance. A specialist sub-contactor removed the existing fish population from the lakes prior to commencement of the work in early August.
It is hoped that the project will be completed by early October and the lakes re-stocked.
