The Port of Hastings Development Authority is holding drop-in community information sessions in October to provide updates on the project’s progress over the past year.

CEO Mike Lean said the Port of Hastings Development Authority has laid the groundwork this year to ensure there are many opportunities for community involvement over the next three to four years.

“Engaging with the community is an important and valuable part of the Port of Hastings Development Project and we are committed to ensuring community and stakeholder feedback is considered during the planning process,” Mr Lean said. “ This year, we have held a number of meetings for our stakeholder engagement network PORTicipate, established the Council Advisory Group and mailed out several project updates to thousands of Western Port residents.

“ Our information sessions planned for October are a great opportunity for the community to talk one on one with members of the project team and find out the latest updates on the project. “By listening to the community and undertaking careful and detailed planning, we are seeking the best outcome for Victoria, ” Mr Lean said.
