Dredging operations at the New Castle Range of the Delaware River have been underway since October 1st and will continue until November 15th.
The cutter suction dredge ESSEX is operating in New Castle Range, working from north to south in the channel, starting in the vicinity of Killcohook National Wildlife Refuge.
Mariners are cautioned to remain a safe distance away from the dredge, buoys, cables, pipeline, barges, derricks, wires, and related equipment.
Submerged pipeline will be placed to facilitate dredging.
