A new interactive website has been launched for the DAMEN DOP submersible dredge pump range, highlighting the versatility of this wear- resistant dredge pump.
The DOP pump has been used by the dredging industry around the globe for almost 25 years. With the new website, this large array of successfully completed dredging projects now have their own dedicated showcase.
The DOP submersible dredge pump is specifically designed as a dredge pump, therefore the wear- resistant impeller and pump casing have a large spherical passage and ease of maintenance has always been an important consideration.
As the initial design was made in close cooperation with dredging contractors, practicality was always high on the agenda. A recent revision of the DOP pump range has integrated even more practical elements, leading to a full Plug-and-Play dredging tool fulfilling customer expectations.
The new DOPDredgePumps website offers contractors an interactive configurator, which allows them to choose the type of DOP offering the required capacity and head for a specific job. A specific fit for purpose suction head can then be added. The result is a clear overview of the dimensions and hydraulic requirements of the complete dredging tool, enabling contractors to determine the layout of their jobsite.
