The Lake Barkley Resource Manager’s Office invites the public to attend one of three public workshops and provide input concerning the upcoming Lake Barkley Shoreline Management Plan five-year review.

The objectives of this plan are to balance private shoreline uses with the protection and restoration of the natural environmental conditions of Lake Barkley.

The workshops are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

· November 3rd at the Lyon County Courthouse in Eddyville, Ky.

· November 6th at the Stewart County Visitor Center in Dover, Tenn.

· November 13th at Lake Barkley State Resort Park (Tennessee Room) in Cadiz, Ky.

Ideas and comments concerning the 2015 Draft SMP and shoreline allocation provide valuable insight to help the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers improve the plan.

Individuals attending the workshops will be given the opportunity to make a brief public comment. Anyone wishing to receive a written response to questions and/or comments must submit a comment card at the workshop or mail a written request to the Resource Manager’s Office, Lake Barkley.
