The Gananoque Municipal Marina dredging program is about to commence, according to gananoquenow.ca.
Gananoque received special consideration from the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans to dredge the width of 20 meters.
The dredging would take place on the west side of the docks around the 800 block and towards the shore.
Dredging hasn’t been completed in about 15 years, said Sue Smith, Manager of Parks, Recreation and Marina.
Kehoe Marine, a full service residential and commercial marine contractor, will undertake this dredging project.
