Stone Harbor dredging project, the undertaking that will incorporate approximately 185,000 cubic yard of dredging within the 9 lagoons in the Intracoastal Waterway, could start as early as the fall of 2015.

The project is currently underway applying for permits with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

Stone Harbor has retained marine and coastal engineering firm, Ocean and Coastal Consultants (OCC) for dredging and dredged material management engineering services.

The dredging is planned to begin next fall with an estimated duration of 2-3 years due to environmental restrictions and volume of dredged materials.
