Over the next few months, multiple civil and marine works are scheduled to take place at the Coral Harbour, announced today the Royal Bahamas Defense Force.

These works will hinder vessels passing through the Coral Harbour waterways, particularly in the area of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force Base.

The key subcontractor to the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) is Van Oord Bahamas Ltd., and they will try to ensure that Coral Harbour is accessible to all other vessels as much as reasonably practical.

These development works will include excavation of the access channel and construction of a breakwater.

During the execution of the works, Van Oord will be operating very large vessels in the Coral Harbour Basin, and for the safety reasons, marine traffic in the vicinity should exercise caution.
