The Kananook Creek entrance maintenance dredging project is completed, according to the Frankston City Council.
Dredging works were carried out by a vessel-based sub-dredge with submersible electric slurry pump. Dredged material was deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach.
On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works have been removed.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance.
