Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has informed shipping, harbor craft and pleasure craft communities in Singapore’s waters that the Sungei Changi dredging scheme will be undertaken from January 5th until June 5th, 2015.

Dredging work will be carried out by an excavator on a flat top barge.

The dredged materials will be loaded onto a hopper barge and transported to a designated dumping ground by pusher tug.

A circular safety zone of 50 meters radius centered at the dredger will be established.
