Van Oord, a leading contractor for dredging, marine engineering and offshore energy projects (oil, gas and wind), and Falck Safety Services recently signed a two year contract for the provision of safety training.

For many years, Van Oord has invested in an intensive trainee program for its employees. To this end, Falck will now provide Van Oord with the large majority of all necessary safety training.

Alongside safety training for the Offshore, Maritime and Wind industry, Falck also offers Occupational Health and Safety Training (Falck BHV) in the Netherlands. This enables Falck to supply Van Oord with all the safety training it may need.

“ We are pleased to have found a partner who can provide us with a complete safety training package. We will have little to take care of in the next two years and we can make sure that our employees are well trained and work in a safe manner ,’’ says Mr. John Knoester, Director Personnel & Organisation, Van Oord.

“ With the complete safety package, Falck wants to ensure that we are able to look after our customers. There is no doubt that we will put this promise into practice for Van Oord ,’’ says Mr. Tjerk Suurenbroek, Commercial Director of Falck Safety Services in the Netherlands.
